个人简介：
Dr. Zhiwei Luo received the BS degree in Engineering in 1984 from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, and MS and Dr Eng. Degrees in Information Engineering in 1991 and 1992 from Nagoya University, Japan. From 1992 to 1994, he was an Assistant Professor of Toyohashi University of Technology. From 1994 to 1999, he was a frontier researcher of the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN), where he researched on bio-mimetic system control. He then became an Associate Professor of Yamagata University. In 2001, he was a laboratory head in Bio-mimetic Control Research Center of RIKEN, where he leaded the development of a human interactive robot RI-MAN which was selected as best invention of 2006 by TIME. He is now a professor of Kobe University since 2006 and is now also the vice Dean of the Graduate School of System Informatics of Kobe University. His researches include human interactive robots, system control and health engineering.
