Abstract:
Recent automotive engine control designs have encountered managements of boundary which divides the engine operation conditions into the normal and abnormal conditions such as knocking, misfiring, and over temperature. To tackle these problems, boundary modeling and control design under inequality constraints are fundamental. In this presentation, activities of IMI (Institute of Mathematics for Industry at Kyushu University) and the research committee on nonlinear control of SICE (Society of Instrument and Control Engineers) are introduced.报告题目:Scenario of Model Based Development of engine control system

Abstract:
The recent automotive control system development requires moresophisticated and complex control strategies and handling more data. It would lead to a continuous and exponential increase of human resources and development time. Model Based Development (MBD) based on controller and plant models is widely regarded as the direction to mitigate the complexity issue of automotive control system development. However, MBD has the issue not to be able to provide plant models to developments timely. In this presentation, a desired modeling environment will be described.
