报告摘要:
Evolutionary Path of Power Systems is at Historical Crossroad due to Changes in Energy Sources, Grid Architectures and Operation and Control Strategies, and Penetration of Advanced Technologies of Power Electronics and Internet. This talk will firstly discuss the transformer-based conventional AC power systems, current and future power systems, current and future power grid architecture, generation and loads of future power systems, power system operation and control, and major problems of current power systems. Then two practical examples including NTU practice and a hybrid energy storage system will be illustrated. Finally, a discussion on the problem of whether future power systems can be as flexible as internet will be presented.
