报告人简介：K.G. SUBRAMANIAN，博士，教授，博导。1969年毕业于印度马德拉斯大学数学专业，获数学硕士学位；1979年毕业于印度马德拉斯大学理论计算科学专业，获理论计算科学硕士学位；1980年毕业于印度马德拉斯大学理论计算科学专业，获理论计算科学博士学位；1990年毕业于印度阿拉嘎帕大学计算机应用专业，获计算机应用研究生学历。长期从事计算机理论方面研究，且在该领域单独或与人合作发表期刊论文125篇。印度马德拉斯基督学院教授，印度数学学会、国际膜计算学会会员，任多个期刊责任编辑。

报告摘要：Membrane computing with a novel computing model having a generic name of P system has grown into an intensive research field in just two decades with a rich theory having deep results and a range of applications which are being developed in different domains. Picture array P system is one such area in this field and many models of P systems with array objects and array rewriting rules having been proposed and investigated. The intention of this presentation is to introduce some of the main models in this area and point out application problems in which these models have been used by researchers and possible future directions of work.
