Abstract: In this talk, abnormality estimation and resilient control are introduced. Abnormality means unexpected abnormal characteristics which would have adverse affect on system operation. Resilient control represents a control method to mitigate the effects from the abnormality. In the first part, unexpected time-varying delays caused by the hydraulic driven units are discussed, and the estimate and compensation for the perturbed terms induced by the unexpected delays are addressed. In the second part, TS fuzzy model based resilient control methods are introduced.
Short Biography: Dr. Zhiwei Gao works with the Faculty of Engineering and Environment at University of Northumbria at Newcastle (UK) as Reader in Control and Power Systems Engineering, and the Subject Head of Electric Engineering.
